Nevis Premier Mark Brantley has outlined the island’s ambition to evolve into a top-tier regulatory jurisdiction, positioning its recently introduced online gaming framework as a core pillar of long-term economic diversification.

In an official interview discussion, Brantley emphasised that Nevis is placing a strong and deliberate focus on regulatory compliance, drawing on over 40 years of experience in international financial services. The same regulatory standards that have historically governed banking, trust services, and international corporate structures are now being applied to the online gaming sector.

According to the Premier, Nevis is pursuing sustainable growth by carefully developing its regulatory infrastructure and operational capabilities. Rather than rapid expansion, the jurisdiction is prioritising quality, credibility, and institutional strength to support its long-term objectives in the global gaming market.

Brantley also made it clear that Nevis is selective in its approach to market participants, stating that “only reputable entities need apply.”
